Hi everybody!

I think it's time for releasing some information about the characters of my comic, Akane Panikku!
The story takes place in Japan, in a tipical japanese high school. The plot is no genius-work, it's just about how the students are spending their time in the school, slowly showing their own characteristic features. The real fun what that show gives us is the humorous happenings and ironic comments.
The main character is an energetic and dangerously sarcastic girl, Akane. Rest of the jokes refer to her, her habits and lifestyle.
We can say that all of the characters are 'involved with her', because she has the power to gather people without them realizing it. [Especially Dai-kun, her best buddy. Dai-kun sees her as his first true friend.]
The strips of the normal story are not involved with each other, they're just showing the silliness of shcool life, but there will be continueing series just like Dai's Training camp, Akane at home or staring out of the window with Ippi-kun. [So on.]
The pages of these series are following each other chronological, making fun out of situations, other characters or referring to things that has happened in the previous strips.

Here are the characters.





Akane

Hair: red
Eyes: blue
Animal: fox
Akane is the main character of the series, an always optimistic, loud, dangerously strict and sarcastic girl, who prefers living her life as she wants [shocking others by behaving like a guy] over then acting too feminine. Her speciality is telling jokes with pokerface what's just makes them funnier and funnier.
She's good at literature, grammary and foreign languages, but she hates maths, phisics, chemistry, and other subjects involved with numbers. She thinks that everybody is just human, and because of the language she's using [totally man-like], she's often considered as 'impolite', 'cheeky' or 'hlegm'.


Daisetsu aka Dai-kun

Hair: dark brown
Eyes: green
Animal: eagle
His nickname has given by Akane. At that time they weren't friends, because Dai was always acting like an iceburg, but Akane saw something in him, and started to spend more and more time with him, until they ended up best buddies.
Dai is a sometimes too serious, proud person, who is way more intelligent than he acts like. It's simply one of the symptoms of being Akane's friend. Dai is normally distrustful, negative and calm, but next to the readhead girl he can be himself. Because Akane loves the people around her more than she shows, and Dai knows that the strongest reason of it is that they are the ones who can really entertain her, he gladly accepts this 'job', and tries to be as funny as he can, without even realizing it.
He's learning jiu-jitsu, and actually very good in it. His sensei is proud of him because of his talent, but Dai is not interested is winning, he just wants to become better and better, what is the base of his serious personality. His sensei is well-known in entire Japan, however he's much more crazier than he looks like. [Dai and Akane often make fun out of him, but of course they are holding him in respect after all.]
Dai is not good at making friends. Akane's friends are his friends of course, but there are only two people whom he can truly trust in [and of course he's closer to them]: Akane and Kaga-kun.


Kaga

Age: 14
Hair: light brown
Eyes: black
Animal: mouse
Kaga is one of the most youngest jiu-jitsu champions in the world. He's three years younger than Dai, but they're probably on the same level. At first Dai thinks of him as a pain in the ass when his sensei introduces him as his new roommate, but later he realizes that Kaga is a very good person after all, and more intelligent than people think he is.
Kaga was actually made for the substitute for Akane in Dai's own series named Training Camp, where she can't appear. That's the original reason why Kaga's personality's so similar to Akane's. [Especially their irony.] But because Kaga is more younger that the others, he's much more playful as well. Likes to act like he's unaware of everything, but he knows well what's going on.
His friendship with Dai started with a crazy conversation at jiu-jitsu class, but at that time they didn't know that they'll be in the same training camp and in the same room as well a few days later.


Ippisatsu aka Ippi-kun

Animal: cat
Ippi's name came from his surname Ippisatsu, which Akane found too long, and decided to make a shorter version of it. From that time everybody started calling Ippi by his new nickname.
Despite the fact that he's too lazy, there's no information he can't look up on. Because of this 'talent' which makes him street-wise, he sometimes orders others around, just like he would be the leader, but a little bit later he always concedes that he's not the one for this job. He can be easily tricked or fooled, and as an easy-going person, he likes to handle things in the most easier way. He's short and has a weak body, and that fact always gets parodised in every series he appears in.


Ayu

Although Ayu gets the best marks on her tests and loves maths and physics, she's way simple-minded and naive. Because of the fact she's too clever in these hard subjects, Ippi-kun's always trying to rival with her and show that he's got brains, too. Ayu doesn't care about any competitions, so she simply can't realize that Ippi's trying to get better than her. And because of that 'rivalization', Ippi always terrorizes Ayu, because she's the only one in the gang who's weaker than him.
Ayu is slim, or Akane rather say she's the most skinniest people she has ever met in this world. The fact that Ayu doesn't like to eat much always gets parodised, mostly by Akane and Ippi.
Instead of eating, Ayu likes talking. Unfortunately too much.


Natsumi aka Natsu

Hair: black
Eyes: black
Animal: racoon
Natsu is the best friend of Ayu. Although she's a strict, disdainful person, and can easily hurt others with her cheeky comments, she could never harm Ayu, even if what she would say is true. She has a weak body and always falls into bed with various illnesses, but her strict words are equilibrating it. Because of her playfulness combinated with dreadful sentences, she's been considered as 'The Demon'.


Madoka

Animal: wild cat
Madoka is an optimistic and hyperactive girl, who likes to make fun out of everything. She grew up with her two brothers, so she's just as girly as Akane... Because of that similar thing, they became good friends. Madoka is very talented in drawing, but sometimes her enthusiastic takes over, and she ends up doing a big nothing. Usually acts dumb, forgets everything she was told before, accidentally drops things, falls off in anything, Madoka looks a not so reliable person, but the others trust her because of her honesty. She has a serious fear of spiders, and it always causes troubles.


Yamaguchi aka Yama-chan

Hair: near brown, but a little bit blond, too
Eyes: blue
Animal: squirrel
Yama-chan's nickname comes from her suname Yamaguchi. This nickname was given to her by her best friend, Madoka.
Yama-chan is clever and diligent, but actually has some serious weak points: she can easily angered; she's the first who gets on her feet and talk back when something unpleasant happens; when she's angry, she looses her head and forgets to talk politely, even if she's talking to one of her teachers.
Yama-chan's got incredible talents in learning only in a few minutes or create something amazing with her own hands. She's always told that she's talented in everything that connected with art, but she doesn't believe it.


Nagahoshi aka Naga-san

Hair: light purple
Eyes: golden
Animal: panther
Naga's nickname comes from her surname Nagahoshi. She hates if somebody calls her Naga-chan, so it's just Naga-san. The reason why they aren't calling her simply Naga is that she was a famous model in Japan, whose name is known by everybody, but she quitted because of her study. [She's 19 now.] So when she came to that little, ordinary school, everybody was surprised and shocked. She explained that she dislike the famous high schools where other rich girls are learning. She apparently enjoys being in that not ordinary class with those crazy classmates, and tries to behave like a 'normal' people. But because she's always been raised like a little lady, sometimes it's hard for her to act otherwise. But she admits that there're a lot of things she has to learn about how to live a happy and relaxing life.
She's calm and always thinks before she reacts to anything. While she was working in the model world, she started hating snobbishness, so when she sees something related to it, she gets angry. [And she's even more terrific when she's angry.]


Hideo

Hideo is a hyperactive guy with no serious thoughts. He's lazy, simple-minded and crazy, but everybody loves him because of his golden heart. He's very talented in imitating or parodising others, making up stories only in 5 seconds, modulating his voice, building up funny pictures of persons and so on. He's always in the center with his idiotic show.


Arisa

Age: 17
Hair: mahogany
Eyes: pink
Animal: tiger
Arisa is a rebellious punk girl with a big mouth and shocking clothing. She, behind fighting for freedom and acting hard as a stone, has a romantic side as well. Not to mention she wants to be a psychologist, and of course she has the talent and the knowledge. She loves reading in other people's mind, trying to figure out what are they thinking.


Eriko

Hair: auburn
Eyes: grey
Animal: butterfly
Eriko is a very romantic, weak-looking girl, but actually she is the best basketball player in the entire school. She is fast and acrobatic and loves playing musical instruments, too. She could get into a basketball team, but they refused her because of her height.
She loves talking about girly things, and Akane doesn't miss the chance to say something sarcastic every time she appears.


Junko

Hair: light green
Eyes: dark green
Animal: cricket
Junko is the youngest in the class, because she started school a year later than it's usual. Her father is the head of some well-known factories, and it seems that after the death of her elder sister, she'll inherit the entire company from her dad. She didn't like the idea at first, but later she decided to do her best for the sake of her sister.
She can play the violin, the favourite musical instrument of Eriko. They met at the last concert of Junko. Eriko loved the music Junko was playing, and realized that their fate is not just a simple meeting, when she accidentaly fell off her in the toilet. They became best friends, and decided to go in the same school.
Junko is caring and lovable, and can hardly angered, because she always acts calm and cool. When she hates somebody, it's the end of the world. Beyond playing the violin, she loves reading books.


Ayabito

Hair: blonde
Eyes: brown
Animal: monkey
Ayabito is the 'bad guy' of Akane's class. He's not so clever, we can say that he's dumb, and he has the most childish habits in the world. He loves destroying other's works, torturing animals like spiders [I heard Madoka screaming], flies or ants and poking others. He's not really bad, he's just curious and simply lacks of brain.
